Please remember: ALL CADETS ARE ASKED TO BRING A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE TO CADETS. WE WILL NO LONGER BE PROVIDING CUPS.
15 Jan 2020 – Practice interviews, for cadets applying for Power and Gliding Power Scholarships or International Air Cadet Exchange, at the Squadron Building from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Dress in comfortable civilian clothing.
17 Jan 2020 – Fundraising Dinner at the Moose Lodge. Parents and cadets invited to help serve from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. All cadets, their families and friends are invited to come and enjoy the wonderful food! Dress in comfortable civilian clothing.
18 – 19 Jan 2020 – The LHQ Training Weekend at the Squadron Building! Senior cadets are to arrive by 9:00am, and the rest of the participants by 10:00am. Dress in comfortable civilian clothing. Remember to bring your uniform, boot polishing kit and sewing supplies.
19 Jan 2020 – A presentation on the Duke of Edinburgh Award program will be given at the Squadron Building, starting at 2:30pm. All cadets (and their parents/guardians) are encouraged to attend. We will be facilitating and supporting any cadets interested in pursuing this award. Dress in comfortable civilian clothing.
Things to note and plan for later in the month:
28 Jan 2020 – Recreational Physical Fitness session. We will NOT be at the Squadron Building. Cadets are to be dropped off and picked up at Gregory Hogan Catholic School. Start and end times are as per normal Tuesday nights (6:30pm to 9:00pm). Dress in clothing appropriate for physical fitness activities in a school gym.
