Once again 44 has headed out into the “wild” to learn hands on the skills needed to survive and have maximum fun while camping. Through the weekend cadets learned how to safely and properly start and maintain fires and shelters, as well as how to provide for themselves in times of need.
On Saturday, as most of our cadets were busy learning, a brave few who have taken on the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award were busy with their day long “12KM” hike. Let it be known that they can hike much farther.
